The Problem With Traditional Arch Support
Most insoles on the market are designed to push upward into the medial arch of the foot. While this may feel supportive at first, it can cause the heel to rotate inward and alter the natural mechanics of walking.
As the foot collapses inward, the toes are forced to compensate for balance and propulsion. This chain reaction places excess stress on the knees, which then affects hip alignment and can increase strain on the lower back over time.
These compensations can contribute to discomfort, inefficient movement patterns, and long term joint stress.
